Wear last, take off first: that's the big secret. Gemstones and beads are very sensitive to all sorts of cosmetic products incl. perfumes. Therefore, if you use any kind of body lotions, perfumes, makeup and so on, please finish applying them first, leave the products dry and then put on the piece of jewelry of your choice. When returning home, please mind to take off your jewelry first. This way you can protect your favorite pieces from possible damage.
